January 2013 At the Bikaner Camel Festival, you’ll see the four-legged ships of the desert like you’ve never seen them before. In addition to experiencing festive races, colorful parades and local music, you’ll find elaborately decorated camels, some with intricate “tattoos” (shaved-hair designs) that are years in the making. You may even catch some camels dancing.
